Divas, death and dirt.

When James and Lucy meet for a (one-sided) date, a pornographic photo becomes the centre of their attention. Meanwhile, Tina and her conservative, rage-aholic fiancé Rex are at the same bar, discussing the state of Australian politics and Melbourne’s left-wing cesspool. No one realises every move they make will involve the other pair. Until the waiter overhears.

Dirty People is a time-twisting comedy thriller about the new generation. After a short yet critically acclaimed Sydney run in 2016, followed by a ★★★★ season at Perth’s 2017 FringeWord festival, JackRabbit Theatre dirties up Bondi Feast with this tight and explosive production.

“An account of the Millennial condition that is soulful and self reflective… youthfully vibrant, witty and capturing the language of this much maligned generation.” – Lisa Thatcher

“A tight comedy thriller that hangs together with impressive ease through a tricksy maze of parallel scenes.” – The West Australian

“Vibrant and adventurous, with an infectious sense of humour” – Suzy Goes See

Director: Lucy Clements
