Jamie Boiskin’s a menstrual activist. Wait, wait, come back! I promise it’s okay! Jamie’s on a mission to stop men backing away from the word ‘period’. And could we chat about endo? Informative and riotous, this cabaret fights period stigma with slut drops, tampon bullets and a RuPaul-inspired uterus.

Joined by menstrual activist protégé Thomas Bradford on piano, back-up dancers, and a lot of attitude, Jamie’s bringing the conversation about ‘women’s issues’, ‘having the painters in’ and ‘the warzone in her underwear’ out of the dark and blinking into the 21st century.

A hit at the Melbourne Cabaret Festival in 2018, Ovariacting is a deep dive into the buggery bollocks situation that people still get the squinks talking about a natural body function. And endometriosis. And polycystic ovarian syndrome. Wait, come back! We talk about Bunnings!

Join Jamie and her gang of Merry Menstruals for a bloody good cabaret about the elephant in the room.
